The tradition of Christmas gifts
The Christmas holiday is a day earmarked to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ and the tradition of gift giving on Christmas is related to the gifts that were presented to the baby Jesus by the Wise Men from the East. Over the years Christmas gifting has become a culture that has been adopted all over the world. Gift giving is a way of showing appreciation to one’s loved ones.
Christmas gift ideas
In the few years that I have been a jewellery sales consultant, I often encounter customers who walk in looking for a gift for their loved ones but do not know what exactly to get them. There are a few gift ideas that I can share that would really work.
Personalised chain or bracelet
A personalised chain and pendant, a chain or bracelet with a nameplate would be a good Christmas gift for him or her. This could be in the form of a nameplate attached to a chain or a pendant with a name engraved on it. One can also have a bracelet with an engraved nameplate with a personalised message.

Earrings
A cute pair of dangly hoop earrings would be a perfect Christmas gift for her. For those that like simple jewellery, these stone studded earrings or plain ball earrings would work.
Bangles
One could also get a bangle for their loved one from a wide range of designs from plain hollow bangles to solid ones.
Anklets
Anklets would also be a lovely gift for Christmas for a female friend or a significant other.
There is no limit to the number of pieces that one can get as a gift, a combination of two or more of these jewellery pieces would still be a good gift for a loved one. Last minute shopping for Christmas presents can be daunting so plan ahead before the festive season.
