Aurex (Pvt) Ltd in empathy with its clients, stakeholders and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic
At Aurex (Pvt) Ltd , we have been continuously monitoring the developments surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic in the country, thus aligning our actions to safeguard the health and welfare of our valued clients and staff in particular and all stakeholders in general.
The company takes the prevailing developments and experiences in the global community, where we are active through exports of our jewelry and imports of our key constituent production inputs, as life threatening and respecting no country borders. Given that there are now confirmed cases in Zimbabwe, it is important that we take further precautions to prevent the spread of the virus among our local community of clients, staff and stakeholders. In this regard, therefore, we kindly advise of the following measures we have taken:
- Aurex continues to follow the guidance of health authorities to ensure the safety and well-being of staff, clients and communities, and have decided, in the interest of the safety of our clients, as well as our staff who travel on public transport, to temporarily institute a skeleton staff structure at our factory and retail shops until further notice.
- The Robert Mugabe International Airport and Victoria Falls shops have been temporarily closed.
- Our offices and branches continue to be cleaned and sanitized regularly. We have sanitizers at each and every entrance point and have provided all our staff members with personal hand sanitizers.
These are extraordinary times and we would appreciate your support through practicing social distancing and by maintaining, at least, one metre distance between our store staff and other customers whilst in our premises.
