On Tuesday, 13 March 2018, Aurex Diamonds, a division of Aurex Holdings, was privileged to host the Management team from ZCDC on an official tour of the Diamond Cutting and Polishing Centre.
Led by the ZCDC Chief Executive Officer, Dr Morris Mpofu, a team of 14 senior executives and management from ZCDC visited Aurex Holdings and toured the high tech state of art Diamond Cutting and Polishing Centre.

In 2016, Aurex Diamonds commissioned a high tech diamond cutting and polishing factory which has installed capacity to cut and polish between 2500 carats and 10000 carats per month, depending on the quality and size of the rough diamonds feedstock. The factory hosts the latest laser diamond cutting technology systems and computerized rough diamond planning machines. The company employs a team of Indian expatriates who are working with the local team to ensure smooth skills transfer and the development of the desired working culture.
